Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 16, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of amendments to Health of Animals Regulations (Humane Transportation).

Frank Novak, Mike Dungate, Matt Bowman and Kenneth Metzger made statements and, with Steve Leech, Brady Stadnicki and Gary Stordy, answered questions.

At 11:56 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Krista Hiddema, Anna Pippus, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Michael Cockram made statements and, with Lauri Torgerson-White, answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
