Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, April 23, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of mental health challenges that Canadian farmers, ranchers, and producers face.

Erin Smith, Michael Hoffort, by videoconference from Regina, Saskatchewan, and Heather Watson, by teleconference from Edmonton, Alberta, made statements and answered questions.

At 12:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:25 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of mental health challenges that Canadian farmers, ranchers, and producers face, each party send its proposed recommendations to the Clerk of the Committee no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019.

At 12:46 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
