The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat Martin, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Scott Armstrong, Denis Blanchette, Kelly Block, Peter Braid, Ron Cannan, Jacques Gourde, Jean-François Larose, Pat Martin, Hon. John McCallum, Bernard Trottier and Mike Wallace.

Acting Members present: Alain Giguère for Linda Duncan and Jean Rousseau for Jean-François Larose.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Tina Lise LeGresley, Analyst ; Lindsay McGlashan, Analyst.

Witnesses: Treasury Board Secretariat: Christine Walker, Assistant Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Services; Bill Matthews, Assistant Secretary, Expenditure Management Sector. Privy Council Office: Michelle Doucet, Assistant Deputy Minister, Corporate Services; Marc Bélisle, Executive Director, Finance and Corporate Planning Division. Department of Public Works and Government Services: Alex Lakroni, Chief Financial Officer, Finance Branch; Pierre-Marc Mongeau, Assistant Deputy Minister, Parliamentary Precinct Branch. Shared Services Canada: Gina Rallis, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Services; Benoît Long, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Transformation, Service Strategy and Design Branch.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c)(viii), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (A) 2012-2013: Vote 1a under PRIVY COUNCIL, Votes 1a, 5a, 20a and 25a under PUBLIC WORKS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES and Votes 1a and 30a under TREASURY BOARD.

Christine Walker, Michelle Doucet, Alex Lakroni and Gina Rallis made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the meeting scheduled for Monday, June 11, 2012, be cancelled.

At 5:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
