The Standing Committee on Public Accounts met at 3:34 p.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, the Hon. Shawn Murphy, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: David Christopherson, Brian Fitzpatrick, Jean-Yves Laforest, Mike Lake, Hon. Shawn Murphy, Pierre Poilievre, Marcel Proulx, David Sweet and John Williams.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee resumed consideration of Chapter 5, Relocating Members of the Canadian Forces, RCMP, and Federal Public Service of the November 2006 Report of the Auditor General of Canada.
 

Sheila Fraser made an opening statement and, with David Marshall, Graham Badun, Tyrone W.H. Pile, Alain Séguin, Dan Danagher, Richard Goodfellow and Bruce Atyeo, answered questions.

 

On motion of David Christopherson, it was agreed, — That the Committee sit in camera to hear Mr. Marshall on the cost of retendering the process of the request for proposal for Relocating Members of the Canadian Forces, RCMP, and Federal Public Service.

 

At 6:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:19 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

 

The Committee continued consideration of Chapter 5, Relocating Members of the Canadian Forces, RCMP, and Federal Public Service of the November 2006 Report of the Auditor General of Canada.

 

At 6:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
