The Standing Committee on Human Resources, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 12:10 p.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Dean Allison, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Dean Allison, Bonnie Brown, Hon. Denis Coderre, Jean-Claude D'Amours, Mike Lake, Yves Lessard, Tony Martin, Hon. Geoff Regan and Lynne Yelich.

 

Acting Members present: Ed Fast for Tony Martin and Carole Lavallée for France Bonsant.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Kevin Kerr, Analyst; Chantal Collin, Analyst. House of Commons: Marc Toupin, Legislative Clerk.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, October 25, 2006, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-257, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (replacement workers).
 

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

 

At 1:40 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
