The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 9:03 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Gary Schellenberger, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Jim Abbott, Charlie Angus, Diane Bourgeois, Ed Fast, Tina Keeper, Maka Kotto, Gary Schellenberger, Hon. Andy Scott and Chris Warkentin.

 

Acting Members present: Hon. Jim Peterson for Hon. Hedy Fry, Hon. Geoff Regan for Francis Scarpaleggia, Hon. Gerry Ritz for Gord Brown and Hon. Lucienne Robillard for Francis Scarpaleggia.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Marion Ménard, Analyst.

 

Appearing: Hon. Bev Oda, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Status of Women.
