The Subcommittee on Solicitation Laws of the Standing Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness met at 8:37 a.m. this day, in the Victoria/Albert room, Delta Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Chair, John Maloney, presiding.

 

Members of the Subcommittee present: Paule Brunelle, Libby Davies, Hedy Fry and John Maloney.

 

Other Members present: Anita Neville.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Standing Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness on November 24, 2004, the Subcommittee resumed its study of Solicitation Laws.
 

Harry Lazarenko, Harvey Smith, Peter Veenendaal, Inonge Aliaga, Myfanwy Cawley, Nanette McKay and Harry Lehotsky made statements and answered questions.

 

At 10:33 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
