Mr. Keddy (South Shore) , seconded by Mr. Hearn (St. John's West) , moved, — That this House consider the reports of the Auditor General presented in 2002.

Motions

Mr. Boudria (Minister of State and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons) , seconded by Mr. McCallum (Minister of National Defence) , moved, — That a debate pursuant to Standing Order 53.1 take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, on the subject of fisheries.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

The debate continued.

At 6:30 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 81(19), the proceedings expired.

Pursuant to Standing Order 36, a petition certified correct by the Clerk of Petitions was filed as follows:

Adjournment Proceedings

At 6:30 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 38(1), the question “That this House do now adjourn” was deemed to have been proposed.

After debate, the question was deemed to have been adopted.
