Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons
with Disabilities met at 3:22 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the
Chair, Judi Longfield, presiding.
Members of the Committee
present: Eugène
Bellemare, John Finlay, Peter Goldring, Monique Guay, Tony Ianno, Judi
Longfield, Gurbax Malhi, Raymond Simard and Diane St-Jacques.

Pursuant to Standing Order
108(2), the Committee resumed its study on Literacy.
Michael Bloom, Kathryn
Barker, Linda Shohet and Susan Pigott made opening statements and answered
questions.
At 5:14 p.m., the Committee
