Tuesday, March 18, 2003
The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:15 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Rick Borotsik, Marlene Catterall, Rodger Cuzner, Yvon Godin, Michel Guimond, Carolyn Parrish and Benoît Sauvageau.
Acting Members present: Karen Redman for Joe Jordan; Beth Phinney for Jacques Saada; Ken Epp for Dale Johnston.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Principal; Margaret Young, Research Officer.
Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(vi), the Committee resumed consideration of matters relating to the election of Members of the House of Commons.
It was agreed, - That the Chair present to the House, as the Report of the Committee, the draft report concerning the report of the electoral boundary commission for Prince Edward Island.
Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed consideration of matters related to the inclusion of a code of conduct in the Standing Orders of the House.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
At 12:46 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
