MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 10

TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 1998

The Sub-Committee on Human Rights and International Development of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met in camera at 3:42 o’clock p.m., this day, in Room 208, West Block, the Chair, Colleen Beaumier, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Jean Augustine, Colleen Beaumier, Paul Bonwick Claudette Bradshaw, Maud Debien, Raymonde Folco, Bob Mills.

Other Member present: Bill Graham.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: . Gerald Schmitz, James Lee and Kristin Douglas, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed consideration of its draft report on International Child Abductions.

It was agreed, --That Recommendation 10 be adopted and that the draft report as amended be adopted as the First Report of the Sub-Committee on Human Rights and International Development.

At 3:55 o’clock p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
