The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 4:20 p.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Peter Goldring, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, David Pratt, David Price, George Proud, John Richardson and Bob Wood.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Merchant Navy Coalition for Equality: Foster J.K. Griezic, Advisor/Consultant; Bill Riddell, President, Merchant Navy Association.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on Veterans Issues.
Bill Riddell and Foster Griezic each made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 6:26 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
