Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege related to the intimidation campaign against the member for Wellington—Halton Hills and other members.

The Minister made a statement and, with Tricia Geddes, answered questions.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Daniel Jean and Michel Juneau-Katsuya made statements and answered questions.

Michael Cooper gave notice of the following motion:

That the committee invite Zita Astravas, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Emergency Preparedness, to appear on her own for two hours, and that she be scheduled to appear within seven days.

At 1:12 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
