Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, March 22, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of Bill S-224, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (trafficking in persons).

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $7,500, for the study of S-224, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (trafficking in persons), be adopted.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
