Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 18, 2023, the committee proceeded to a briefing with the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities.

The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:43 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth be invited to appear before the committee on Monday, October 16, 2023, in relation to the study of the Canada Summer Jobs wage subsidy program.

At 6:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
