Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)d) and the Centennial Flame Research Award Act, the committee resumed its study of the 2022 Centennial Flame Research Award.

It was agreed, — That Shelley Petit be the recipient of the 2022 Centennial Flame Research Award.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of labour shortages, working conditions and the care economy.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 7, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to the order of reference of Tuesday, October 18, 2022, the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion and department officials be invited to appear before the committee no later than Monday, December 5, 2022, for one hour to provide additional testimony on Bill C-22 which will be beneficial to all committee members following the testimony received and heard from witnesses.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the National Housing Strategy, officials from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation be invited to appear before the committee on Wednesday, November 30, 2022; and that a second meeting on this study be held at the earliest convenience.

At 5:27 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
