Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 21, 2023, the committee resumed its study of policy decisions and market forces that have led to increases in the cost of buying or renting a home in Canada.

Judith Robertson and Mathieu Bélanger made statements and, with Frank Lofranco, answered questions.

At 12:23 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:30 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Minister made a statement and, with Nadine Leblanc, Bob Dugan and Kelly Gillis, answered questions.

At 1:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:10 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 1:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
