Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, January 31, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Vaccine Equity and Intellectual Property Rights.

Benjamin Blanco Ferri made a statement and, with Jason Nickerson, answered questions.

At 11:43 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

Marc-André Gagnon and Madhukar Pai made statements and answered questions.

Michael D. Chong gave notice of the following motion:

That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development supports the full participation of Taiwan in the International Civil Aviation Organization and its 41st Triennial Assembly to be held on September 27, 2022 – October 14, 2022; that this be reported to the House as soon as possible; and that the committee requests a government response.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 12:46 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, January 31, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the Situation at the Russia-Ukraine Border and Implications for Peace and Security.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft statement.

At 12:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
