Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of nuclear waste governance in Canada.

Rumina Velshi and Mollie Johnson made statements, and, with Ramzi Jammal, Kavita Murhy, Jim Delaney and Justin Hannah, answered questions.

At 7:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Duncan Malcolm Michano, Steve Chapman and Mary Taylor made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Laurel Collins, it was resolved:

Whereas Ukraine reports that Europe’s largest nuclear plant is on fire;

That the committee condemn all actions leading up to the situation.

At 8:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
