The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of trade opportunities for Canadian businesses in the Indo-Pacific, the proposed preliminary submission for the committee’s travel to Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia during fall 2022, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, March 21, 2022, the committee resumed its study on trade opportunities for Canadian businesses in the Indo-Pacific.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:16 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:27 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
