Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 14, 2022, the committee commenced its study of harms caused to children, women, and men by the ease of access to, and online viewing of, illegal sexually explicit material.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That, for the study of Harms Caused by Online Viewing of Illegal Sexually Explicit Material, the committee invite a mental health professional to be present to offer onsite mental health support to members, staff and witnesses if needed during the meeting.

At 5:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:24 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 5:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:41 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, the committee request an extension of thirty sitting days to consider Bill C-316, An Act to amend the Department of Canadian Heritage Act (Court Challenges Program) and that the Chair present this report to the House.

At 5:51 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:58 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 6:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
