Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, December 8, 2021 and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December13, 2021, the committee resumed its study of the situation in Afghanistan: humanitarian assistance for the Afghan People.

Asma Faizi, Aziz Amiri and Amy Avis made statements and, with Erica See, answered questions.

At 7:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:43 p.m., the sitting resumed.

MGen (Ret'd) David Fraser, MGen (Ret'd) Dean Milner and Oliver Thorne made statements and answered questions.

At 8:03 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 8:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
