Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, June 11, 2021, the committee commenced its study of funding to locate the remains of Indigenous children buried on the grounds of former residential schools.

Melanie Kwong and Emmanuelle Sajous made statements and, with Amanda McCarthy, answered questions.

At 2:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
