Aircraft Certification Process

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 20, 2020, the committee commenced its study of the aircraft certification process.

Nicholas Robinson made a statement and, with David Turnbull, answered questions.

At 5:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Election of Vice-Chairs
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the clerk of the committee presided over the election of a vice-chair.

Motion

Fayçal El-Khoury moved, — That Xavier Barsalou-Duval be elected Second Vice-Chair of the committee.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Churence Rogers moved, — That, when the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities appear before the committee on Thursday, February 27, 2020, on the subject of their respective mandate letters, that they also appear on the topic of the Supplementary Estimates (B), 2019-20, that has been referred to the committee.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
