Pursuant to Standing Order 91.1(1), the Subcommittee considered the items placed in the order of precedence to determine whether they were non-votable according to the criteria adopted by the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.

Motion

Arnold Chan moved, — That Bill C-344, An Act to amend the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act (community benefit), not be designated non-votable.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 2; NAYS: 1.

Motion

Jamie Schmale moved, — That Bill C-343, An Act to establish the Office of the Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Criminal Acts and to amend certain Acts, not be designated non-votable.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 2; NAYS: 0.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That all other items being considered today not be designated non-votable.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee present a report listing those items that it has determined should not be designated non-votable and recommending that they should be considered by the House.

At 9:17 a.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
