The Committee resumed consideration of Clause 1 and the amendement of Mary Ng.
On Clause 1,
Mary Ng moved, — That Bill C-354, in Clause 1, be amended by replacing lines 7 to 12 on page 1 with the following:“(1.1) In developing requirements with respect to the construction, maintenance or repair of public works, federal real property or federal immovables, the Minister shall consider any reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and any other environmental benefits and may allow the use of wood or any other thing — including a material, product or sustainable resource — that achieves such benefits.”
After debate, the question was put on the amendment of Mary Ng and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 3.
Clause 1, as amended, carried.
The Title carried.
The Bill, as amended, carried.

It was agreed, — That the proposed general information to include in the invitation to witnesses for the study on the current state and future of national energy data be adopted.
