Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2019-20: Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, referred to the Committee on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General.

Sylvain Ricard made a statements and, with Andrew Hayes, Lucie Cardinal, Ronald Bergin and Kimberly Leblanc, answered questions.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(7), the Committee commenced consideration of the Report on Plans and Priorities 2019-20 of the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Sylvain Ricard made a statements and, with Andrew Hayes, Lucie Cardinal, Ronald Bergin and Kimberly Leblanc, answered questions.

At 10:21 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:24 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Chair write to the Minister of Finance requesting a copy of a letter sent by the former Auditor General, Michael Ferguson, dated July 9, 2018, concerning stable financing for the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and related matters.

At 10:34 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
