The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Eric Janse, Ian McDonald and Marcus Pistor made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Shared Services Canada, the Committee send a letter to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement, advising the government of the Committee’s preliminary findings.

At 4:35 p.m., Yasmin Ratansi took the Chair.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada Post, the Committee meet on Monday, September 19, Tuesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 21, 2016, and that representatives of the Canada Post Review Taskforce, the Canada Post Corporation, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, the Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association, the Association of Postal Officials of Canada, and the Union of Postal Communications Employees be invited to appear as witnesses.

At 5:12 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
