Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of fire safety and emergency management in Indigenous communities.

Ann Louie, by videoconference from Williams Lake, British Columbia, and Ryan Day, by videoconference from Cache Creek, British Columbia, made statements and answered questions.

Tammy Cook-Searson, Ronald E. Ignace, Alvin Fiddler, Michael McKay and John Hay made statements and answered questions.

At 1:04 p.m., Cathy McLeod took the Chair.

At 1:07 p.m., MaryAnn Mihychuk took the Chair.

At 1:17 p.m., Cathy McLeod took the Chair.

At 1:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
