Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, May 9, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-44, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2017 and other measures.

At 3:28 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

Mark Campbell, Aaron Bedard, Michel Rodrigue and Dave Gallson made statements.

At 3:49 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:16 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Dave Gallson made a statement and, with Mark Campbell, Aaron Bedard and Michel Rodrigue, answered questions.

At 4:58 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:01 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Rob Cunningham, Carolyn Pullen, Norma Ballantyne and Melodie Ballard made statements and answered questions.

At 5:16, by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.
