Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations in advance of the 2017 budget.

It was agreed, — That the Committee make public the templates of the three form letters received in both official languages, from numerous Canadians through the Canadian Medical Association, in relation to the Pre-Budget Consultations in advance of the 2017 budget.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:13 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit until 5:35 p.m.

At 5:20 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:28 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 5:38 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Creating the Conditions for Economic Growth: Tools for People, Businesses and Communities".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting and/or supplementary opinions be in Arial 12 point font, single line spacing, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s Website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Analysts prepare a summary of the Regional Development Agencies’ testimony received during the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2017 Budget; and that this summary be reported to the House in February 2017.

At 7:20 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
