The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee meet for an extended period on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, to host the International Grand Committee.

• Ann Cavoukian, Privacy by Design Centre of Excellence, Ryerson University
• Michael Geist, Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of privacy of digital government services.

Ann Cavoukian, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Michael Geist made statements and answered questions.

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:02 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee resumed consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, issue a news release with regard to the International Grand Committee.

At 5:11 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
