Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, October 19, 2017, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-57, An Act to amend the Federal Sustainable Development Act.

The Minister made a statement and, with Jonathan Wilkinson and Stephen Lucas, answered questions.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:52 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Ed Fast gave notice of the following motion:

That the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change be invited to appear before the Committee in relation to the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2017-18.

Paula Brand made a statement and, with the Parliamentary Secretary and Stephen Lucas, answered questions.

At 10:46 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
