Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the clean growth and climate change in Canada: forestry, agriculture and waste.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:05 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Twelfth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

1. That, in relation to the study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: international leadership, two further meetings be added in order to receive testimony on pricing pollution, and that experts on the subject matter of pricing pollution be invited to appear; and,

2. That the Committee proceed with a study of plastic pollution as its next study.

It was agreed, — That members submit suggested witnesses for the study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: international leadership and the study of plastic pollution to the Clerk by Friday, January 11, 2019.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 24,400, for the study of clean growth and climate change in Canada: forestry, agriculture and waste, be adopted.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
