Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, the Committee resumed its study on the 2011 LGBTQ Refugee Pilot Project.

Michael Tutthill, by videoconference from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Janet Altshool, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Kimahli Powell made statements and answered questions.

At 4:24 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Arsham Parsi, by teleconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Maurice Tomlinson made statements and answered questions.

At 5:14 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:17 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the meetings in relation to the study on immigration to Atlantic Canada be televised.

It was agreed, — That all meetings of the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration be televised.

At 6:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
