Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the drafting instructions for the report in relation to the study of the modernization of client service delivery be postponed until Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
At 5:14 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:17 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the Committee invite Marta Morgan, Deputy Minister, and Robert Orr, Assistant Deputy Minister, Operations, from the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to appear before the Standing Committee of Citizenship and Immigration at its next meeting; that the first hour of the appearance be held in camera in order to address the Department's disregard for the timelines of undertakings committed to during the Committee' study on family reunification; and that the second hour of the appearance be held in public in order to proceed with questions and answers in relation to the subject matter of the undertakings with Committee members.
At 5:22 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
