I would like to take a moment to address the question of privilege that was raised by Ms. Rempel at the previous meeting. I'd like to tell all of the members of the committee that I do not take matters of confidentiality lightly. I have taken some time to examine the question in more depth and to examine the record. I'm satisfied that privilege was not breached in this case. I would like to thank Ms. Rempel for raising awareness of such an important issue.
