Courtney Howard, by videoconference from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and Craig Yeo, by videoconference from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, made a statement and answered questions.
At 11:41 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 11:47 a.m., the sitting resumed.
David Usher made a statement and, with Jason Flint, Sara Neamtz and Kim Dayman-Rutkus, answered questions.
At 12:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the Committee resume on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, its study of Bill C-13, An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act, the Hazardous Products Act, the Radiation Emitting Devices Act, the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, the Pest Control Products Act and the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act and to make related amendments to another Act; that witnesses be heard during the first hour and that the Committee proceed with consideration of the Bill at clause-by-clause stage the second hour; and that the Clerk inform Members of Parliament who are not members of a caucus represented on the Committee.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a draft budget respecting the Committee's proposed travel, for consideration by the Committee.
At 12:46 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
