The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a preliminary submission for travel to communities in British Colombia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Ontario and Northern Québec with regard to the Committee's study on Indigenous participation in sport to be submitted to the Subcommittee on Budgets of the Liaison Committee before Friday, May 4, 2018.

At 8:53 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of gender parity on the boards and senior leadership levels of Canadian artistic and cultural organizations.

Heather Allin, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Ferne Downey, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Susannah Rosenstock and Sophie Brière made statements and answered questions.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:55 a.m., the sitting resumed.
