The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Gordie Hogg, it was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $38,900, for the study of Cultural Hubs and Cultural Districts in Canada, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the state of Canadian museums.

Elaine Hruby, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, Heidi Reitmaier, Jeff Denomme and Phil Pritchard made statements and answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.
