Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Frédéric Seppey made a statement and, with Denis Landreville, answered questions.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Ruth Ellen Brosseau moved, — That the meetings of April 18th and 20th be postponed to a later date; and that the Committee continue its study on Grain Transportation which will be undertaken on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was negatived, by a show of hands: YEAS: 4; NAYS: 5.

Motion

Francis Drouin moved, — That the Committee undertake the study Growing Forward 3 at the meeting of Monday, May 2, 2016.

Debate arose thereon.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
