Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the needs and issues specific to Indigenous veterans.

Robert Thibeau made a statement and answered questions.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 9, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the needs and issues specific to Indigenous veterans.

Namita Joshi and Aurel Dubé made statements and answered questions.

At 12:57 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:58 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of needs and issues specific to indigenous veterans, part 2, the proposed budget in the amount of $108,193.80 for the Committee’s travel to Whitehorse, YK, Yellowknife, NT, and Iqaluit, NU, in October 2018, be adopted.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
