Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, February 6, 2017, the Committee resumed its comparative study of services to veterans in other jurisdictions.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Comparative study of services to veterans in other jurisdictions".

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report any dissenting or supplementary opinions provided that they are no more than ten (10) pages in length, in the same style and format as the report (Calibri, 12 point, left aligned); and that it is submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee, not later than Friday, December 8, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. (EST).

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the report of the Committee’s trip to Washington, D.C., prepared by the Library of Parliament, be appended to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk and the Analyst, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a draft travel itinerary for the Committee as part of its study of the needs and issues specific to Indigenous veterans.

At 9:36 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
