Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2016-17: Votes 1 and 5 under Veterans Affairs, and Vote 1 under Veterans Review and Appeal Board, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Veterans Affairs.

The Minister made a statement and, with Walter Natynczyk, answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Bernard Butler and Michel Doiron answered questions.

Vote 1 under Veterans Affairs carried by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 0.

The Chair called Vote 5 under Veterans Affairs.

Vote 5 under Veterans Affairs carried by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 0.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Veterans Review and Appeal Board.
