The Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development met at 11:02 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Bob Mills, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mike Allen, Bernard Bigras, Nathan Cullen, Luc Harvey, Marcel Lussier, David J. McGuinty, Bob Mills, Anthony Rota, Francis Scarpaleggia, Maurice Vellacott and Mark Warawa.

Acting Members present: Hon. Maurizio Bevilacqua for Hon. Geoff Regan and Hon. John Godfrey for Anthony Rota.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Tim Williams, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the government's climate change plan - entitled "Turning the Corner".

Denis Gauthier and Susan Fletcher made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
