The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:12 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Rick Borotsik, Rodger Cuzner, Yvon Godin, Dale Johnston, Joe Jordan, Lynn Myers, Carolyn Parrish, Geoff Regan, Benoît Sauvageau, Werner Schmidt and Guy St-Julien.
Acting Members present: Colleen Beaumier for Marlene Catterall; Lawrence MacAulay for Jacques Saada.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Principal; Margaret Young, Research Officer.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the House on Thursday, February 20, 2003, the Committee commenced consideration of criteria for making items of Private Members' Business non-votable.
Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed consideration of matters related to the inclusion of a code of conduct in the Standing Orders of the House.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
At 11:57 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
