FIRST REPORT

In accordance with its Order of Reference dated Tuesday, March 5, 1996, your Sub-Committee requests that Bill C-222 be withdrawn from consideration by the Sub-Committee and recommends that the Committee consider the Bill in the context of its study of Canada's drug policies, with particular attention to effective means of increasing awareness of FAS.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Issue No. 1) is tabled.
