M-69 — September 22, 2016 — Mr. Bratina (Hamilton East—Stoney Creek) — That, in the opinion of the House: (a) the government should address the growing concerns of lead pipes and water quality in private residences across Canada by working with the provincial and territorial governments, Federation of Canadian Municipalities, as well as Indigenous partners, to advocate and establish possible solutions to these issues; (b) the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities should undertake a study on “The Federal Government's role in lead pipe infrastructure in Canada”; and (c) the Committee should report to the House no later than December 1, 2017. M-69 — 22 septembre 2016 — M. Bratina (Hamilton-Est—Stoney Creek) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre: a) le gouvernement devrait répondre aux préoccupations croissantes à propos des conduites d’eau en plomb et de la qualité de l’eau dans les résidences privées du Canada en collaborant avec les provinces, les territoires, la Fédération canadienne des municipalités, ainsi qu'avec les partenaires autochtones pour trouver des solutions possibles à ces problèmes et les mettre de l’avant; b) le Comité permanent des transports, de l’infrastructure et des collectivités devrait entreprendre une étude sur « Le rôle du gouvernement fédéral dans les infrastructures en plomb au Canada »; c) le Comité devrait faire rapport à la Chambre au plus tard le 1er  décembre 2017.

M-39 — February 22, 2016 — Mrs. Lockhart (Fundy Royal) — That the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration be instructed to undertake a study on immigration to Atlantic Canada, to consider, among other things, (i) the challenges associated with an aging population and shrinking population base, (ii) possible recommendations on how to increase immigration to the region; and that the Committee report its findings to the House within one year of the adoption of this motion. M-39 — 22 février 2016 — Mme Lockhart (Fundy Royal) — Que le Comité permanent de la citoyenneté et de l’immigration reçoive instruction d’entreprendre une étude sur l’immigration au Canada Atlantique afin de se pencher sur, entre autres choses, (i) les difficultés associées à une population vieillissante en contraction, (ii) les projets de recommandations sur les moyens d’accroître l’immigration dans la région; et que le Comité fasse rapport de ses constatations à la Chambre dans l’année suivant l’adoption de la présente motion.
