Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Van Loan (Leader of the Government in the House of Commons) for Mr. Oliver (Minister of Finance), seconded by Mr. Duncan (Minister of State and Chief Government Whip), Bill C-31, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 11, 2014 and other measures, was introduced, read the first time, ordered to be printed and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

Recommendation
(Pursuant to Standing Order 79(2))
His Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 11, 2014 and other measures”.

Conformément aux articles 68(2) et 69(1) du Règlement, sur motion de M. Van Loan (leader du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes), au nom de M. Oliver (ministre des Finances), appuyé par M. Duncan (ministre d’État et whip en chef du gouvernement), le projet de loi C-31, Loi portant exécution de certaines dispositions du budget déposé au Parlement le 11 février 2014 et mettant en oeuvre d'autres mesures, est déposé, lu une première fois, l'impression en est ordonnée et la deuxième lecture en est fixée à la prochaine séance de la Chambre.
