The Subcommittee on Bill C-38 (Part 3) of the Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 6:31 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Blaine Calkins, presiding.

Members of the Subcommittee present: Mike Allen, Stella Ambler, David Anderson, Blaine Calkins, Robert Chisholm, Kirsty Duncan, Peter Julian, Randy Kamp, Megan Anissa Leslie, Anne Minh-Thu Quach, Michelle Rempel and Brian Storseth.

Other Members present: Hon. Carolyn Bennett, Nathan Cullen, Linda Duncan, Ted Hsu, Elizabeth May, Jamie Nicholls, Robert Sopuck, Philip Toone, Mark Warawa and John Weston.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Kristen E. Courtney, Analyst . House of Commons: Michelle Tittley, Procedural Clerk.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(1)a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, the Subcommittee resumed its study of Bill C-38, Part 3 (Responsible Resource Development).

David J. McGuinty, Shawn A-in-chut Atleo, Fred Denning and David W. Schindler made statements and answered questions.

At 8:09 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Subcommittee continue to sit.

At 8:19 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 8:59 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Terry Quinney, William Amos, Ron Bonnett, Kevin Obermeyer, Scott Vaughan and Clarence T. Jules made statements and answered questions.

At 10:53 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Subcommittee continue to sit.

At 11:06 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
